History
Shanthal Jyothi Public School , began it's humble journey with the primary aim and ardent desire of educating children from in and around Muttom in the year 1994 which was then known as Jyothi Public School .It was taken over by Adoration sisters of Christ Raj Province, Pala in the year 1996 and rechristened as Shanthal Jyothi Public School . A strong passion for service linked with action oriented persistent effort saw that the school grow in leaps and bounds under the able guidance of its first Principal Rev. Sr. Christopher SABS.
A block was completed in the year 1996 and obtained CBSE affiliation in the year 2000. This remarkable development was further augmented and expanded by Rev. Sr. Jessy Maria SABS the second Principal of our school .Her extra ordinary administrative guidance and educational skills resulted in a phenomenal growth of the school .As part of the infrastructure development, B Block was completed in the year 2003. First batch of class X students passed out in the same year. Rev. Sister Liza SABS, an accomplished, gifted and proficient personality, took the school to new height.
Under her leadership indoor Stadium was completed in the year 2001 and the first batch of class XII students passed out in 2014. The baton was handed over to Rev. Sr. Lislin SABS, an equally competent, efficient, and able Principal in the year 2017. Academic excellence under her supervision and guidance is praise worthy and commendable.
